Each one on our list will be a guaranteed good time for you and the entire family. Plus, all of these summer activities are free!

Canada Day at Canada Place

Head down to the waterfront for Western Canada’s largest birthday celebration. This award-winning event is full of family friendly activities, including a fireworks display and incredible live performances, including main stage headliner Jojo Mason.

Remember to stop by the Coast Capital Savings Youth Zone for giveaways, live music and a bunch of other cool activities.

Metro Van Canada Day

Surrey Canada Day

This free event in the heart of Surrey brings over 100,000 people together to celebrate Canada’s birthday and includes live entertainment and interactive activities. This year’s main stage headliners are Canadian singer-songwriters Serena Ryder and Brett Kissel. We’ll be there with lots of activities and giveaways throughout the day. Pop by if you see us.

Canada Day in Kelowna

If you’re in sunny Kelowna, be sure to join us at one of three local parks to celebration our Nation’s birthday. Come explore tons of activities and performances that are appealing to all ages, including the Coast Capital Savings Youth Zone, multiple music stages and a fireworks display to cap off the night.

Khatsahlano Street Party

Sunshine, live music, good eats… is there anything better?!

As Vancouver’s largest free music and arts festival, Khatsahlano features ten city blocks full of live performances on multiple stages, a wide variety of food vendors, and much more.

When: July 7, 2018

Where: West 4th Avenue between Burrard and MacDonald Streets, Vancouver B.C.

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) Birthday Festival

This inclusive birthday extravaganza will feature family-friendly games, performances, vendors and an outdoor carnival in the daytime, followed by evening concerts and a beer garden.

When: July 7 2018

Where: Surrey Civic Plaza, 13450-104th Ave, Surrey B.C.

Cost: Free from 10am – 4pm (sensory friendly hours from 10am-12pm), followed by a concert series from 5pm-9pm (ticket and band information coming soon). Visit their event website for tickets.

Surrey Fusion Festival

This event brings over 100,000 youth and families together to celebrate Canada’s diverse culture through live music, food and dance. This year’s main stage headliners are Canadian band Walk Off the Earth and Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej. Don’t forget to stop by our tent for lots of great giveaways and fun activities.

When: July 21 and 22, 2018

Poco Grand Prix

Mark your calendars – Port Coquitlam is playing host to world-class cyclists racing at up to 63 kilometers per hour this July. This fast-paced and exciting event celebrates the blending of sports and community, with lots of live entertainment and interactive stations for the whole family as well. The Grand Prix is part of BC Superweek, which takes place July 5 to 15 in five Metro Vancouver cities.

Richmond World Festival
